Valamis listed in Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Human Capital Management Technology, 2018

Gartner’s 2018 Hype Cycle “informs application leaders that are transforming human capital management about the latest technological innovations in the market. It will help them to prioritize investment by providing insight into the maturity of key applications and technologies.”

London, 10 December, 2018. Valamis, the global leader in digital learning technologies and workforce development announced that it has been listed in Gartner’s August 2018 Hype Cycle for Human Capital Management Technology, 2018. Gartner has listed Valamis as one of the Sample Vendors in the Learning Productivity (Experience) Platforms (abbr. LPP, LEP, or LXP) category, based on analysis by Jeff Freyermuth. Earlier this year Gartner listed Valamis as a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s May 2018 Market Guide for Corporate Learning Suites.

“Healthy learning cultures with a wide range of development opportunities often correlate with higher employee engagement, which translates to stronger business performance”, Freyermuth states in the Hype Cycle report.

“Organizations can’t afford to treat all learners the same. Simply purchasing a generic learning platform and creating one set of standard training materials leads to low adoption and dissatisfied learners”, Freyermuth continues.

Learning Productivity (Experience) Platforms enable more personalized learning for a global network of employees. They can be an extension to traditional LMS’s quite limited capabilities for modern learners, or replace eventually the whole LMS. Learners are more engaged and productive because of greater personalization, content curation, and expanded breadth of content.

“We are glad to be listed as a Sample Vendor for Learning Productivity (Experience) Platforms technologies in Human Capital Management,” says Janne Hietala, CCO at Valamis.

“Valamis LXP allows learners to organize their learning better and gain visibility on what their colleagues find valuable. Valamis’ AI powered learning assistant makes sure that learners are offered valid learning content in right time and context, as well as avoids overloading learners with irrelevant content. It ensures that the learning supports both the employee and business”, Hietala continues.
